What you will do

• Model, sculpt, and UV map stylised environment and prop assets.
• Effectively realise 2D concepts into 3D, even with minimal design.
• Provide UV mapping and bake displacement maps for the Surfacing Department.
• Produce render tests for the approval process.
• Work as part of a team, communicating with Team Lead, Directors, and Art Director.
• Manage assets and time effectively to meet production deadlines.
• Respond positively to and act on feedback from Rigging & Surfacing Department, CG Supervisor, Art Director, and Directors.
• Be able to produce more complex environment assets.

Requirements

• Extensive demonstrable animation production experience.
• Ability to interpret volume and form when creating models from concept designs.
• Proficiency with modelling tools in Maya and Zbrush.
• Knowledge of clean topology.
• Experience with UV mapping using Maya or UVLayout.
• Knowledge of texturing assets.
• A team player and great collaborator with creative problem-solving skills.
• Must be based in the UK and require the right to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• Previous production experience in a Senior role.
• Knowledge of Substance Painter.
• Knowledge of Substance Designer.
