TL;DR

Account Executive: Driving new business revenue and growth across assigned accounts or territory with an accent on developing strong pipelines and leading the entire sales cycle. Focus on understanding complex business challenges and building relationships with C-level executives.

Location: Hybrid, weekly office requirement (Mon/Tues/Thurs) in London, UK or New York City, USA.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute an account or territory plan to build pipeline and exceed sales quotas.
  • Identify and map opportunities within organizations to understand the full scope of each opportunity.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle from initial opportunity creation through to close.
  • Establish credibility with prospects by developing a deep understanding of their business challenges and presenting needs-based solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to drive value and deliver strong commercial outcomes.
  • Take ownership of your pipeline, executing outbound prospecting activity alongside inbound opportunities.
  • Track all sales activity, manage opportunities, and accurately forecast revenue using Salesforce.
  • Build and develop relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Experience in SaaS or Subscription/licensing sales, especially closing business in large and complex corporate accounts.
  • Ability to apply strategic thinking and sales skills to align technology solutions with complex, multi-stakeholder business problems.
  • Familiarity with MEDD(P)ICC sales methodology to qualify opportunities and progress deals through the pipeline.
  • Experience using Salesforce to manage business (sales-cycle, pipeline, forecasting, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and succinctly.
  • Demonstrated ability as a 'hunter' who sees the value of outbound prospecting to grow your own sales pipeline.
  • Ability to reach and develop relationships with C-level executives.
  • Experience working in a start/scale-up environment.
