What you will do
- Lead end-to-end administration of regional benefits programs, managing enrollments, payroll integrations, and compliance.
- Serve as primary contact for external benefits providers, negotiating contracts and overseeing benefits systems (AON, Workday).
- Shape benefits strategy by researching market trends, analyzing plan utilization data, and recommending improvements.
- Manage full ownership of benefits renewals and new program implementations, from surveying employees to communications.
- Act as the go-to expert for all benefits-related issues, troubleshooting system errors and resolving complex escalations.
- Partner cross-functionally with Payroll, People Onboarding, Finance, and Procurement teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of extensive experience managing end-to-end benefits programs, with deep understanding of strategy, design, and administration for the US and Canada.
- In-depth understanding of key health, welfare, and retirement benefits administration functions.
- Strong understanding of US benefits compliance and regulations, including federal and state laws, FMLA, leave administration, Workers’ Compensation, IRS, and ERISA.
- Proven ability to manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee benefits systems.
- Strategic and analytical skills, with experience using data to analyze trends and recommend improvements.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Experience using Workday, including launching Open Enrollment and running reports.
Nice to have
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or FinTech environment.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CEBS, PHR/SPHR).
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
- Experience with benefits in Brazil and Mexico.
