Compensation Analyst

TL;DR

Compensation Analyst (HR): Advising HR and Recruiting teams on compensation programs and concerns, including promotion adjustments, new hire offers, and job evaluations with an accent on compensation program administration and compliance with federal and local laws. Focus on conducting market compensation analysis, developing training materials, and ensuring legal compliance.

Location: Must be based in North America (including NYC, CA & WA)

Salary: $114,707–$168,237 USD (New York City); $100,943–$148,049 USD (California); $91,766–$134,589 USD (Washington)

What you will do

• Advise HR Partners and Recruiters on compensation programs and issues (promotions, new hire offers, job evaluations).
• Serve as the first point of contact for compensation-related questions to the People Team.
• Support compensation initiatives, including ad hoc market analysis and program administration (broad-based, executive, LTI, STI).
• Develop training/coaching materials for HR Partners, Recruiters, and Leaders.
• Ensure compensation practices comply with federal and local laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA).

Requirements

• Direct experience with Compensation programs, plans, and processes.
• Consultative experience in developing and administering compensation programs (base pay, variable pay), preferably in gaming, technology, entertainment, or media.
• Experience with HRIS Technology (preferably Workday) and major compensation survey vendors (especially Radford).
• Intermediate Excel and/or Google Sheets experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and present effectively, with excellent listening, organizational, and time-management skills.
