TL;DR

Director of People Operations (HR): Leading the operational backbone of the People team, ensuring scalable and compliant HR processes, and delivering a best-in-class employee experience. Focus on designing HR systems, processes, and policies that enable the company to scale quickly and effectively across the US and Canada.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the US)

Salary: $200,000 - $240,000

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end People Ops processes supporting hiring, onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and employee lifecycle initiatives.
  • Maintain high-quality HR data across HRIS, payroll, benefits, and ATS systems to drive accurate reporting and informed workforce decisions.
  • Manage scalable and compliant immigration process for employees requiring visas or work authorization.
  • Design, maintain, and communicate company policies, including internal mobility, employee handbooks, and time-off programs, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Implement workflows, tools, and automation to improve operational efficiency, transparency, and scalability.
  • Partner with People leaders to deliver smooth, positive experiences at all operational touchpoints, ensuring processes reflect company values and culture.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in People Operations, HR, or related functions, ideally in high-growth SaaS or technology startups.
  • Strong operational expertise, including HR systems, payroll, benefits, HRIS administration, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Experience managing immigration programs and developing scalable policies for growing organizations.
  • Proven ability to partner with executives and department leaders to align People Ops with business priorities.
  • Data-driven mindset with high standards for accuracy and reporting.
