What you will do

• Identify friction points in frontend workflows and design automation solutions to remove them.
• Own and evolve tooling across the client monorepo using technologies like Vite and Nx.
• Design and optimize frontend-specific CI/CD workflows for speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Extend CI/CD pipelines with capabilities such as preview app deployments and static asset analysis.
• Partner with product engineering teams to identify friction points in build, test, and deployment processes.
• Promote adoption of best practices through internal education, technical guidance, and documentation.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
• Deep understanding of frontend build systems and tools (e.g., Vite, Webpack, Rollup, Nx).
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), with a track record of building or maintaining pipelines.
• Background as a frontend engineer with a focus on developer productivity, tooling, or infrastructure.
• Excellent debugging and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Experience working in and maintaining large-scale frontend monorepos.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with developer experience metrics and a methodical approach to continuous improvement.
• Experience building and maintaining internal developer tools used at scale.
