What you will do
- Lead the implementation of scalable backend services and AI-native applications as a hands-on contributor.
- Act as the technical "special forces" across high-priority teams, solving complex architectural problems.
- Partner with PMs and ML engineers to turn experimental AI ideas into high-availability, production-grade services.
- Take end-to-end ownership of the AI pipeline, from data retrieval and ingestion to monitoring token usage, cost, and latency.
- Design and build complex conversational states, multi-agent communication protocols, and their supporting infrastructure.
- Champion engineering excellence and influence the organization's technical direction for AI development.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Experience in backend software development, including previous experience in a Tech Lead or Staff Engineer capacity.
- Expert-level proficiency in GoLang in microservice architecture.
- Hands-on experience building, deploying, and scaling AI-native applications in a production environment.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and high-concurrency systems.
Nice to have
- Experience with LLM observability and evaluation frameworks (e.g., Langfuse, Arize Phoenix).
- Proven ability to optimize RAG pipelines for both latency and cost.
- Familiarity with building multi-agent workflows (e.g., using LangGraph, CrewAI).
- Experience building internal SDKs or libraries that help other engineering teams adopt AI features faster.
