What you will do

• Lead the implementation and composition of tool-using agents interacting with APIs, databases, and knowledge systems.
• Lead a team of AI/ML Engineers in implementing multi-agent systems.
• Build persistent agent memory systems (short-, long-, and episodic memory).
• Implement fault-tolerant orchestration for multi-agent pipelines.
• Build and scale cloud-native systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Simulate and test multi-agent interactions for scalability, safety, and emergent behaviors.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, and LLM training pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of agent architectures (e.g., ReAct, Reflexion, Voyager, AutoGPT, CrewAI, AutoGen) and orchestration frameworks (LangChain / LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex).
• Hands-on experience with MLOps/LLMOps, including version control, CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and tools like MLflow or Weights & Biases.
• Experience with knowledge, context, and data integration, including vector databases and RAG pipelines.
• Understanding of AI safety, guardrails, and governance, including prompt injection, data exfiltration, and model hallucination vulnerabilities.
• Must have the right to work in Germany.
• Willingness to relocate to Germany if not currently based there.
