Location: Hybrid in Munich, London, Cologne, or Berlin, with office attendance required twice a week.

What you will do

• Design and build full-stack features for efficient research workflows.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for ML code and manage service deployments.
• Enhance observability, monitoring, and automation for incident detection and resolution.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural decisions, and raise engineering standards.
• Collaborate with researchers, ML engineers, and platform teams.

Requirements

• Deep empathy for solving user problems and a product-oriented mindset.
• Strong software engineering skills: clean abstractions, robust data modeling, sound architectural decisions, scalability.
• Comfortable working across the stack (Python, FastAPI, React, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes).
• Technical leadership, driving cross-team initiatives, mentoring peers, setting engineering standards.
• Clear communicator, active listener, and team player.
• Eager to learn and work with unfamiliar languages or tools.
• English: B2 required
