TL;DR

Business Development Representative (Enterprise Software): Driving pipeline growth by identifying, qualifying, and developing new sales opportunities across law enforcement, government defense, public safety, and commercial markets with an accent on outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and CRM management. Focus on scheduling discovery meetings, building an understanding of public sector buying processes, and articulating i2’s value proposition.

Location: Remote within the United States or Canada

What you will do

  • Drive pipeline growth by identifying, qualifying, and developing new sales opportunities.
  • Research target accounts and execute outbound prospecting through email, phone, and LinkedIn.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads using established criteria.
  • Schedule discovery meetings and product introductions for Account Executives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system (Salesforce preferred).
  • Learn and clearly articulate i2’s value proposition, products, and key use cases to potential clients.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, customer success, or a related role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort engaging prospects via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • High level of organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • English: B2 required.
