What you will do

• Produce high-quality 3D character animations for gameplay and in-engine use.
• Deliver clean, readable motion that supports gameplay clarity and responsiveness.
• Set up and maintain Animation Blueprints in Unreal Engine.
• Implement animations into state machines and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Work closely with the Animation Director and animation team, communicating clearly with other disciplines to resolve issues early.
• Iterate on feedback without ego, ensuring animations meet expectations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in character animation for games or interactive media.
• Strong command of Autodesk Maya and Keyframed animation.
• Proven experience animating for gameplay (not just reels).
• Solid understanding of rigging, skinning, and character setup.
• Hands-on experience working in Unreal Engine (Animation Blueprints required).
• Portfolio or demo reel showing real-time, game-ready animation.

Nice to have

• Experience working on fantasy or stylized games.
• Familiarity with gameplay-driven animation systems.
• Prior experience in fully remote, multi-time-zone teams.
