TL;DR

Location: Remote (Poole, UK office available)

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000

What you will do

  • Develop tailored business plans for legal consultants and coach them on business development.
  • Identify and secure speaking slots, sponsorships, partnerships, and introductions to raise firm and consultant profiles.
  • Lead initiatives to boost the internal referral network across the community.
  • Strengthen existing client relationships and identify opportunities to cross-sell services.
  • Work with the marketing team on targeted campaigns and enhance the digital presence.

Requirements

  • Proven business development experience, ideally in the legal sector.
  • Experience optimising events with measurable business development outcomes.
  • A natural networker, confident representing the firm and building rapport quickly.
  • Commercially aware with an eye for spotting and developing opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

  • Event planning and delivery experience.
  • Experience with CRM systems to manage relationships and track opportunities.
  • Familiarity with legal directories and award submissions.
  • Data analysis skills to measure and refine BD activity.
