Risk & Governance Reporting Manager (Fintech): Supporting the production and shaping the content of executive-level risk reports for the Chief Control Officer and hirify.global Bank, effectively interpreting the risk and control profile for a senior audience with an accent on data accuracy and high-quality outputs. Focus on modernizing reporting through automation and business intelligence tools.

Location: Cardiff & Manchester. All hirify.global colleagues spend a minimum of 10 days per month in the office with flexibility to work the rest from home.

What you will do

• Respond to business queries and data requests, working closely with the First Line Risk and Control team, operational stakeholders, and managers.
• Support the production of month-end and intra-month Management Information (MI) deliverables, providing transparency across key risk and control activities.
• Assist the CCO with project-based initiatives and deep-dives.
• Take ownership of reporting and associated data extract procedures, ensuring they remain current, regularly tested, and fit for purpose.
• Support the strategic project to modernize reporting through automation and business intelligence tools.
• Liaise with a range of business teams to fulfill data and reporting requests or queries.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality outputs.
• A proactive approach to managing workloads and ‘can do’ attitude, along with the ability to use initiative, take ownership, and see things through.
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic and evolving environment, regularly working with senior and executive colleagues.
• A keen eye for spotting trends, anomalies, and opportunities within data.
• Confidence to question existing processes and contribute to shaping how the team operates.
• Willingness to embrace change and contribute ideas to enhance current practices.

Nice to have

• Exposure to working within First or Second line risk, or as a risk champion, within a business line.
• Experience in conducting first line control testing.
• Experience in working with data visualization tools e.g. Looker, Tableau.
