Focus on consulting on big data architecture, implementing proof of concepts, and validating integrations with cloud services.

Location: This role requires travel to meet customers in your territory and is restricted to candidates based in Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, or Washington D.C.

Salary: $196,200–$274,650 USD

What you will do

• Partner with the sales team to help customers understand how hirify.global can solve their business problems.
• Provide technical leadership for customers to evaluate and adopt hirify.global.
• Consult on big data architecture, implement proofs of concept, and validate integrations with cloud services and third-party applications.
• Build and present reference architectures, how-tos, and demonstrate applications for customers.
• Become an expert in and promote open-source projects like Apache Spark™, Delta Lake, and MLflow across developer communities.
• Travel to meet with customers in your territory.

Requirements

• 7+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role, preferably with big-data technologies.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Comfortable programming in and debugging at least one of: Python, SQL, Scala, Java, or R.
• Experience building solutions with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with data engineering technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) and data warehousing technologies (e.g., SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS).
• Undergraduate degree or higher in an engineering or mathematics discipline.
