Location: Hybrid in Munich, Germany, requiring 50% in-office time. Up to 8 weeks a year can be spent from other inspiring locations.

What you will do

• Ship high-impact ML features for ranking, recommendations, and revenue management.
• Accelerate experimentation and decision quality using A/B tests.
• Ensure model reliability in production, monitoring performance and data drift.
• Advance MLOps practices with CI/CD pipelines and lineage tracking.
• Collaborate across business departments to solve challenges with data science.
• Build and optimize ranking models, recommender systems, and user personalization models.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist applying ML models to business problems.
• Degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Strong foundations in statistics, predictive modeling, and machine learning with Python and SQL.
• Experience working on ranking models or recommender systems.
• Solid understanding of business operations.
• AI Proficiency: comfortable using AI to enhance coding, planning, and monitoring.

Nice to have

• Experience with Airflow and dbt.
