Sales Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote. Must be based in Spain, Italy, or Portugal (Western Europe).

What you will do

• Support strategic sales opportunities across the WEST region (Spain as primary, plus Italy and Portugal).
• Partner with the sales team to plan, prepare, and execute on strategic deals within the sales cycle.
• Participate in discovery calls, technical deep dives, and deliver customized product demonstrations.
• Design and recommend solutions that meet customer needs, highlighting hirify.global Cognigy benefits and value.
• Discover and analyze customer requirements, provide recommendations, and collaborate on enhancements.
• Provide technical support to the sales team and internal training on hirify.global Cognigy and conversational AI products.

Requirements

• Proven experience in consulting, sales engineering, or presales roles.
• Strong background in enterprise software, especially contact center or automation technologies.
• Experience with JavaScript programming/scripting.
• Experience presenting conversational AI and generative AI technologies.
• Understanding of contact center technology (SIP, SBCs, ACD, ASR, TTS, conversation design).
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and demonstrate confidence with them.
• Deep understanding of Cognigy, conversational AI, NLU/NLP, and UI/UX.
• Excellent communication skills, tailored to your audience, and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
