What you will do

• Take ownership of work from elaboration to delivery within the L2 Backend team.
• Interact with senior developers and architects to analyze needs and requirements.
• Design and code solutions for the Direct Market Access (DMA/L2) system.
• Deliver high-quality support and assurance for rolled-out work.
• Decouple backend and middleware services to achieve a modern architecture.

Requirements

• Proven Java development experience (JDK 17+).
• Strong knowledge of multithreading and concurrency, and Spring Framework.
• Proficiency in design at system and component levels.
• Good troubleshooting skills and ability to join the support rota.
• Good understanding of the Agile process.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed caching solutions (Hazelcast or similar).
