QNX Senior Technical Project Manager (Embedded)

What you will do

• Work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Plan and monitor resource use against budget for major or complex projects.
• Direct the compilation of required data, including budget, time constraints, contracts, and technical data.
• Develop detailed schedules for major or complex projects, detailing all activities required for successful completion.
• Be accountable for and mitigating risk factors to successful completion of major or complex projects.
• Arrange the distribution of work packages and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure commitment to project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent experience.
• Proven technical project/program management and software development experience (C/C++/Java).
• Experience in the automotive or embedded software/RTOS domains.
• Experience with software implementation project management, planning, and deployments in an AGILE environment.
• Knowledge of UNIX-based operating systems.
• Experience with managing multiple concurrent projects with different time frames and end-to-end project ownership.
• Must be based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada for onsite work.

Nice to have

• Experience managing commercial implementation projects in the Embedded and RTOS Market.
• Direct experience with QNX.
• Direct experience with implementing a software development organization’s compliance to ISO 9001, SEI-CMMI, IEC 61508, IEC 62304, SPICE ISO/IEC 15504, Common Criteria ISO 15408, or ISO 26262.
