Senior Customer Success Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote, West region with a focus on California, United States. Travel: 25–50% annually.

Compensation: $220,000–$240,000 total annual compensation.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical expert on the Cyera Platform and act as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders.
• Drive customer onboarding, training, adoption, retention, renewal, and expansion.
• Understand customer requirements and business outcomes, then design and deliver customized technical use cases.
• Troubleshoot customer issues, remove adoption blockers, and monitor customer health and usage indicators.
• Develop joint success plans, conduct Quarterly Business Reviews, and share best practices.
• Represent customer feedback in product development while mentoring team members and supporting interviews.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience; a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.
• 12 years of experience with strong project management, customer relationship, and technical customer-facing skills.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with data and cloud technologies, including databases, cloud infrastructure, networking, compute assets, IAM, and permissions.
• Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages such as Python, cloud environments, APIs, and web services.
• Experience with DLP, data privacy or protection, DSPM/CSPM, SIEM, or vulnerability management.
• Ability to lead executive meetings and technical workshops, communicate complex information clearly, and work autonomously in ambiguous environments.
