What you will do
- Identify and engage government stakeholders to boost awareness and demand for Autonomous Surface Vessels (ASVs).
- Develop and enhance the sales pipeline, track opportunities, and create promotional materials.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate on tailored proposals and lead contract negotiations.
- Conduct in-depth market research to guide strategic decisions.
- Shape the company's business processes for scaling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Political Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development or sales within defence, maritime, or technology sectors.
- Demonstrated mastery of the full sales cycle for the Australian Government.
- Australian Government Security Clearance - NV1 or above required.
- Strong knowledge of defence acquisition processes, autonomous systems, and maritime technology.
- Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be based in Sydney or Canberra, Australia.
