What you will do

• Identify and engage government stakeholders to boost awareness and demand for Autonomous Surface Vessels (ASVs).
• Develop and enhance the sales pipeline, track opportunities, and create promotional materials.
• Cultivate strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate on tailored proposals and lead contract negotiations.
• Conduct in-depth market research to guide strategic decisions.
• Shape the company's business processes for scaling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Political Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development or sales within defence, maritime, or technology sectors.
• Demonstrated mastery of the full sales cycle for the Australian Government.
• Australian Government Security Clearance - NV1 or above required.
• Strong knowledge of defence acquisition processes, autonomous systems, and maritime technology.
• Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be based in Sydney or Canberra, Australia.
