TL;DR

Business Development Representative (Cybersecurity AI): Responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers to generate high-quality sales opportunities with an accent on outbound prospecting, lead conversion, and strategic territory planning. Focus on leveraging a modern tech stack for outreach and partnering with Account Executives to execute sales strategies.

Location: Remote (Australia). Must be authorized to work in Australia at time of hire and for duration of employment.

Salary: $68,000–$80,000 AUD annually

What you will do

  • Research, identify, and prospect new customer accounts within an assigned territory.
  • Book outbound meetings through cold calls, emails, social outreach, and targeted networking across multiple buyer personas.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and convert them into sales-ready opportunities.
  • Deliver relevant marketing content to prospective customers and promote marketing events.
  • Leverage a modern prospecting tech stack including HockeyStack, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Lusha, Outreach, Orum, and Qualified.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to build and execute a shared territory plan-of-attack.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in Australia at time of hire and for duration of employment.
  • Hunter mentality, self-motivated, self-starter, and takes initiative.
  • Previous experience in an Outbound Lead generation role.
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and be coached.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Genuine passion for technology and learning.
