Senior Sales Specialist (AI): Developing and closing sales for data and AI solutions, identifying new business opportunities within agreed sectors. Working with one of the richest datasets in the UK and developing new channel partnerships. Focus on managing partners, scaling BT’s Active Intelligence market offering and proposing new and innovative solutions to meet client needs.

What you will do

  • Identify, develop and close sales through prospecting and account management activity.
  • Develop strong external and internal relationships.
  • Create and present a credible sales plan.
  • Work closely with AI & Data Science and Product teams to propose new and innovative solutions to meet and exceed client needs.
  • Develop industry partnerships as part of the go-to-market process.

Requirements

  • Experience of managing enterprise SaaS/Data New Business sales.
  • Knowledge of location-based insights and services would be desirable.
  • Experience of selling into central government, Transportation sector, Transportation Consultancies/Civil Eng, System Integrators, retail, and/or Public sectors would be an advantage.
  • Driven and entrepreneurial, with a passion for developing insight-led data roadmaps and solutions.
  • Team player, who is comfortable using their initiative in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • New business sales hunter with experience of selling into enterprise-grade accounts.
  • Attention to detail in everything you do.
  • Self-starter who acts as the "CEO of your sales plan."
  • A great eye for market trends and a record of spotting these early.
  • Know how to devise commercial strategies and build business plans for new products into existing clients.
  • Outstanding communication skills and strong commercial acumen.
  • Familiarity with the data and insights industry and focus on articulating the value data sinsight can have on an organizations business.
  • Able to build and maintain a sales and B2B partnership pipeline to overachieve vs target.
  • Able to coach and develop partners to effectively sell new and existing products.
