TL;DR

Senior Major Account Executive (Networking & Security Sales): Acquiring new accounts and driving new business opportunities in networking, security, and cloud solutions with an accent on lead generation, sales cycle ownership, and C-level relationship building. Focus on disrupting incumbent technologies, building partner ecosystems, and achieving consistent sales targets in the enterprise segment.

Location: Remote (US-based with a primary focus on NYC metro)

Salary: $150,000–$160,000 USD (base salary, plus bonus/commissions)

What you will do

  • Collaborate with local teams to build comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Drive new business opportunities in networking, security, and cloud solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities through various sales and marketing efforts.
  • Engage in 8-10 new business customer interactions per week, initiating contact across multiple personas.
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new business leads.
  • Hold at least 2 partner meetings per week and leverage Hyperscalers for deal transactions.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of successful technology sales experience, preferably in a hunter role focused on new business acquisition.
  • Provide references from C-levels in at least 3 accounts with successful product portfolio penetration.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and opening Fortune 1000 accounts with 6-figure ACV deals.
  • Demonstrated ability to build C-level relationships and disrupt incumbent technologies by selling emerging solutions.
  • Experience cultivating Partner ecosystems, including channel, hyperscaler, and tech alliances.
  • Proficient with CRM software and sales tools such as Salesforce.com, Clari, Highspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo / 6sense.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and a Bachelor's degree.
