HR Lead — International Sporty
📍 Remote, Europe/South Africa - Will consider applications from candidates located in the EU or South Africa
Sporty continues its rapid global growth — and we’re now looking for an HR Lead (International) to take our people strategy to the next level.
In this senior role, you’ll lead HR teams across multiple countries, elevate people operations, partner with regional leaders, and help shape performance, reward, and manager development programmes across Sporty’s international footprint.
What you’ll be doing
Regional HR Leadership & Partnering
— Lead, coach, and develop HR teams across Bulgaria, Spain, South Africa and the UK
— Ensure consistent HR operations and standards across all markets
— Partner with local leaders and act as the escalation point for complex people matters
— Ensure HR practices comply with local labour laws and Sporty values
Performance, Reward & Progression
— Improve and scale performance review cycles
— Strengthen promotion and progression frameworks
— Support global compensation projects, levelling frameworks, and benchmarking
Manager Training & Capability Building
— Design and deliver training for managers on performance, feedback and leadership
— Implement metrics to track and evaluate manager effectiveness
Systems & Projects
— Support the rollout of a new HRIS and refine HR processes
— Represent regional needs in system design and adoption
— Drive change management across teams and leadership
What you’ll bring
— Significant experience as an HR Lead / Senior HRBP in a scaling international company
— Proven success managing distributed HR teams
— Strong expertise in performance management, employee relations and coaching
— Experience with compensation, levelling and benchmarking frameworks
— Track record of delivering HR initiatives in complex or high-growth environments
— Fluent English and exceptional communication skills
