Salary: $191,700 - 234,200 plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Salary ranges vary by work location, job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.

What you will do

• Work with business leaders to articulate a clear vision, strategy and OKRs.
• Coordinate with other program managers to ensure the timely delivery of the newest audio and video technologies to the Home Devices market.
• Proactively identify and address business and program risks across all the Home Devices initiatives.
• Ensure effective teamwork and communication with key stakeholders and that the overall business objectives are being met.
• Provide timely and effective program status updates to senior management and recommend potential corrective actions as appropriate.
• Contribute to the refinement of program management methodologies within Dolby.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years professional experience in driving software and hardware product development programs, preferably in consumer electronics, from inception to end of life, as a project and/or program manager.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders to develop business strategies, OKRs and execution plans
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Must be comfortable discussing technical details with engineering teams as well as synthesizing concise core messages for senior executives.
• Knowledge and demonstrable skillful application of program and project management practices, tools, and processes as they apply to product development.
• Practical experience with risk analysis, conflict resolution and meeting facilitation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tool, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus, especially in transitioning large teams from waterfall to scrum.
• Experience in consumer electronics product development or technology is a plus.
