What you will do
- Work with business leaders to articulate a clear vision, strategy and OKRs.
- Coordinate with other program managers to ensure the timely delivery of the newest audio and video technologies to the Home Devices market.
- Proactively identify and address business and program risks across all the Home Devices initiatives.
- Ensure effective teamwork and communication with key stakeholders and that the overall business objectives are being met.
- Provide timely and effective program status updates to senior management and recommend potential corrective actions as appropriate.
- Contribute to the refinement of program management methodologies within Dolby.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years professional experience in driving software and hardware product development programs, preferably in consumer electronics, from inception to end of life, as a project and/or program manager.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders to develop business strategies, OKRs and execution plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Must be comfortable discussing technical details with engineering teams as well as synthesizing concise core messages for senior executives.
- Knowledge and demonstrable skillful application of program and project management practices, tools, and processes as they apply to product development.
- Practical experience with risk analysis, conflict resolution and meeting facilitation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tool, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Nice to have
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus, especially in transitioning large teams from waterfall to scrum.
- Experience in consumer electronics product development or technology is a plus.
