What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and maintain software solutions for financial processes.
• Participate fully in the software development lifecycle, from design through deployment.
• Design and build new features and applications using Golang, Python, and SQL.
• Leverage accounting background to identify and improve automation and reconciliation workflows.
• Help build out a distributed architecture, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Mentor engineering teammates to elevate their experience and knowledge.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Experience with building and serving REST APIs using Go, Java, or Python.
• BS in Accounting, Computer Science, or a similar degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience as an accountant or financial analyst.
• Solid understanding of financial operations such as reconciliation, reporting, and compliance.
• Proficient in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go) and database systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
