Technical Training Engineer

TL;DR

Technical Training Engineer: Enabling Americas-based field sales engineering teams to achieve technical subject matter expertise across the Axis portfolio with an accent on technical training and knowledge transfer. Focus on building and running annual training schedules, maintaining facilities, and collaborating with global teams to refine curriculum and content.

Location: Must be based out of, or be willing to relocate to, our Chelmsford, MA office. This is an in-office role with the flexibility to work remotely one day.

Salary: $105,000-115,000 OTE

What you will do

• Support ongoing technology knowledge transfer to field sales engineering organization and other technical roles across the Americas.
• Build and run Americas Technical Training Center (TTC) annual class schedule with support from Global Sales Engineering.
• Maintain TTC facilities including product displays, lab equipment, and infrastructure.
• Deliver training sessions regularly throughout the TTC season.
• Collaborate with global teams in defining technical curriculum needs, refining training materials, and producing content.
• Develop scalable learning concepts, training paths, and additional means to scale knowledge transfer across the Americas region.

Requirements

• Ability to understand and retain complex concepts, as well as document and articulate them in easily absorbable ways.
• Instructional design, facilitation, and curriculum development skills.
• Strong accountability, multi-tasking, and project & time management skills.
• Clear communication with an engaging public speaking ability.
• BA or BS – preferably in technology, engineering or related field.
• 10+ years experience in information technology, physical security industry or related field.
