TL;DR

Director, Sales Operations: Driving seller productivity and achieving revenue targets by integrating and optimizing data, processes, and systems across the revenue lifecycle. Focus on leading commercial transformation initiatives, overseeing Deal Desk, annual sales planning, and compensation design, and optimizing commercial technology ecosystems.

Location: Hybrid (8 days/month) in the USA (Riverwoods, IL; Minneapolis, MN; Tampa, FL; Waltham, MA; Philadelphia, PA). Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a hirify.global office as part of the recruitment process.

Salary: $150,500–$268,900 USD

What you will do

  • Lead the reorganization and integration of the Sales Operations team, spanning Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Analytics, Territory & Quota Management, and Ecommerce Operations.
  • Drive seller productivity and commercial transformation by defining and executing strategic roadmaps with GTM leadership.
  • Oversee Deal Desk for efficient quote generation and contract negotiations, and lead planning processes for Annual Sales, Territory, Budgeting, and Forecasting.
  • Manage commercial technology assessments, defining future-state architecture and optimizing Salesforce with tools like Gong, Outreach, CPQ, and Seismic.
  • Partner with VP of Sales, Finance, and HR to design and maintain compensation plans, overseeing quota setting and administration using Xactly.
  • Build organizational change management capabilities and collaborate on sales enablement to improve training and collateral for seller success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or related field; MBA highly desirable.
  • 7+ years of experience in Sales or Sales Operations leadership within a growth environment.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale transformation initiatives and cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in sales performance metrics, forecasting, compensation design, and analytics.
  • Strong understanding of commercial technology ecosystems and process optimization.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and related tools (Gong, Outreach, CPQ, Seismic).
