TL;DR

Business Development Representative (AI, Cybersecurity): Responsible for finding, qualifying, and nurturing prospects to drive pipeline growth for an AI-native cybersecurity platform with an accent on lead generation, inbound follow-up, and strategic collaboration with sales. Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 base with bonus, equity grants, and generous benefits.

What you will do

  • Find and qualify potential customers, develop a lead pipeline leveraging channels like phone, email, and LinkedIn, then convert these leads to new meetings.
  • Follow up on warm leads from marketing programs, nurture, and convert them into first meetings and opportunities.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to develop target accounts and ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads.
  • Be knowledgeable about hirify.global’s products, services, competitors, and target market to effectively communicate value to potential clients.
  • Manage leads, track activities, and report on performance using CRM and sales automation tools.
  • Provide feedback to Marketing and Sales on what resonates with prospects to drive more effective messages and campaigns.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1-2 years in sales or business development; experience in cybersecurity is a must.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with prospects and understanding their problems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, meticulously tracking activity like conversations and meetings.
  • Self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales automation tools.
