TL;DR

Senior Major Account Executive (Cybersecurity): Driving new business opportunities and acquiring new accounts for networking, security, and cloud solutions with an accent on territory and account planning, prospecting, and deal qualification. Focus on building C-level relationships, disrupting incumbent technologies, and achieving sales targets for Fortune 1000 accounts.

Location: Work remotely from home office in S. California, AZ, NM, NV, or UT; travel required up to 25%. Open to candidates located in Sacramento, CA, Carson City, NV, Helena, MT, or Phoenix, AZ, or other home offices within S. California, AZ, NM, NV, or UT.

Salary: $150,000–$160,000 base plus commissions

What you will do

  • Collaborate with your local team to build comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Drive new business opportunities in networking, security, and cloud solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities through sales-specific actions, marketing, and channel efforts.
  • Conduct expert discovery and apply the MEDDPICC deal qualification framework.
  • Engage the economic buyer by leveraging business value assessments and business cases.
  • Hold at least 2 partner meetings per week with resellers, Hyperscalers, and tech alliances.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of successful technology sales experience, preferably in a hunter role focused on new business acquisition.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, opening Fortune 1000 (or like-size) accounts with 6-figure ACV deals.
  • Demonstrated ability to build C-level relationships and successfully disrupt incumbent technologies by selling emerging technologies.
  • Proficient with CRM software and other sales tools (including Salesforce.com, Clari, Highspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo / 6sense).
  • Work remotely from home office in S. California, AZ, NM, NV, or UT; travel required up to 25%.
  • Bachelors degree.
