What you will do

  • Provide leadership and performance management for the sales department.
  • Create and implement sales plans that align with business KPIs.
  • Establish and foster partnerships with key internal and external customers.
  • Evangelise the product and personally help close the largest deals.
  • Identify areas of improvement in sales strategies through research and analysis.
  • Monitor the product and market to forecast trends and identify competitive advantages.
  • Mentor key positions within the sales department.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrable track record of sales leadership within FX or other cross-border financial services.
  • Experience in nurturing junior talent and managing senior sales staff.
  • Strong Financial Services experience and an extensive contact network.
  • Experience of the local UK market.
  • Ideally, a business or finance academic background.

Nice to have

  • Experience in an environment different from a bank (e.g., start-up vendor, FX specialist, cash management).
