What you will do
- Provide leadership and performance management for the sales department.
- Create and implement sales plans that align with business KPIs.
- Establish and foster partnerships with key internal and external customers.
- Evangelise the product and personally help close the largest deals.
- Identify areas of improvement in sales strategies through research and analysis.
- Monitor the product and market to forecast trends and identify competitive advantages.
- Mentor key positions within the sales department.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrable track record of sales leadership within FX or other cross-border financial services.
- Experience in nurturing junior talent and managing senior sales staff.
- Strong Financial Services experience and an extensive contact network.
- Experience of the local UK market.
- Ideally, a business or finance academic background.
Nice to have
- Experience in an environment different from a bank (e.g., start-up vendor, FX specialist, cash management).
