What you will do

• Serve as the technical lynchpin through the entire pre-sales cycle, educating and empowering prospects and customers.
• Find best-fit solutions, train/onboard new customers, and support long-term success using hirify.global's platform.
• Act as a subject matter expert on web/mobile security and performance, developing firewall rules, caching strategies, and internal tools.
• Drive technical discussions, qualify use cases, lead demonstrations, and design solutions to generate new business and expand existing accounts.
• Advise existing customers on technical best practices, product implementation, and strategic guidance on internet security and performance.
• Travel 20-30% for meetings, conferences, and team collaboration.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales or consulting role.
• Demonstrated experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Bash, Lua, Go).
• Expertise in internet technologies: OSI Model layers 1-7, BGP, GRE, TCP/UDP, DNS, HTTP(S), SSL/TLS.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust Framework and SASE concepts.
• Technical curiosity and passion to stay updated with industry trends and hirify.global products.
• Strong project management, relationship building, and EQ skills.

Nice to have

• Experience building or contributing to web applications.
• Understanding of L3, L4, and L7 firewalls and related concepts.
• Comfort with command-line interfaces, RESTful APIs, and analyzing HTTP requests.
• Ability to describe differences between CSRF, XSS, and SQLi, and hirify.global's role in defense.
• Understanding of, or experience with, regulatory requirements like PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOC-2.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
