TL;DR

Business Development Representative (SaaS): Identifying new business opportunities through prospecting and territory development, focusing on accounts with 1500+ employees. Focus on engaging with business and IT executives, managing early sales stages, and mapping prospective accounts to find suitable solutions.

Location: Must be located in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Hybrid work model with Tuesdays through Thursdays in the office

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000/ year + commission

What you will do

  • Work directly with Account Executives to develop assigned territories with targeted strategies and relevant account plans.
  • Conduct outbound lead/opportunity generation and nurturing activities within assigned territories in accounts with 1500+ employees.
  • Engage in value-based conversations with business and IT executives within prospective clients.
  • Execute proven sales processes to generate interest and new sales opportunities.
  • Manage the early stages of the sales process, including qualification and quality pipeline creation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Business Development/Inside Sales, with proven success in generating high-quality opportunities and driving prospective customer interactions in the Enterprise space.
  • Eagerness to make calls and drive outbound activity, combined with the professional tact to communicate with executives.
  • Excellent writing skills that demonstrate professionalism and compelling reasoning.
  • Intellectual curiosity and keenness to learn about critical issues facing global companies.
  • Ability to take the initiative to get things done and maintain a high level of organization.
