TL;DR

Customer Account Manager, SMB (Automotive): Building and expanding relationships with SMB customers by cross-selling and up-selling additional licenses, add-ons, and new products with an accent on defining new sales strategies and driving deeper product adoption. Focus on managing a high-quality pipeline, communicating thoughtful solutions, and understanding customer needs within the automotive industry.

Location: Hybrid role with in-office expectations 2 days/week in Larkspur, California, U.S.

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 base salary annually (plus uncapped commission target of $50,000+ annually).

What you will do

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality opportunities within the SMB customer base.
  • Define and execute new sales strategies to showcase hirify.global's impact.
  • Identify software engagement areas, drive deeper adoption, and up-sell/cross-sell products.
  • Communicate accurate and realistic forecast information to management.
  • Empathize with customers, understand their needs, and recommend thoughtful solutions.

Requirements

  • Hybrid role, with in-office expectations 2 days/week in Larkspur, California.
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably at a technology company, with a track record of top performance.
  • Experience managing month-to-month and multi-annual contracts with multiple products.
  • Ability to understand hirify.global's technology platform and build customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated passion for the startup community and new technology businesses.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with charisma, empathy, humility, and humor.
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% with onsite visits to clients.
