TL;DR

Principal Product Manager (Ads Measurement): Leading the vision and execution of next-generation measurement products for advertisers across the Microsoft ecosystem with an accent on quantifying impact and enabling smarter marketing decisions. Focus on building attribution, incrementality, cross-channel reporting, and AI-driven insights to create strategic advantage for customers and Microsoft.

Location: Hybrid in Mountain View, United States. Employees living within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft U.S. office are expected to work from the office at least four days per week starting January 26, 2026.

Salary: USD $188,000–$304,200 per year (for San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area locations).

What you will do

  • Lead vision, strategy, and roadmap for Microsoft Ads’ measurement platform.
  • Build and launch measurement capabilities including attribution, incrementality, and AI-driven insights.
  • Partner with engineering, UX, and data science to design and ship features.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and account teams to drive product adoption.
  • Define and analyze product metrics to guide decisions and evaluate performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering and cross-functional partners to deliver high-impact features.
  • Solid understanding of advertising or marketing technology, including measurement, attribution, experimentation, or performance optimization.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product direction and customer value.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

  • 10+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development.
  • Experience driving strategy and shipping complex data, analytics, or measurement products at scale.
