What you will do

• Build new product components to convert customer signals into actionable outcomes.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, CS, and Commercial teams to make customer insights visible and impactful.
• Establish experimentation and measurement foundations, ensuring sound statistical practices.
• Productionize and scale data and model workflows in collaboration with engineering.
• Ensure quality, monitoring, and clear documentation for reliable and explainable systems.

Requirements

• Track record of 4+ years in applied data science for product or marketing in consumer or SaaS.
• Continuous learning mindset, staying current with generative AI advances.
• Hands-on ML skills: feature engineering, propensity/uplift modeling, model evaluation, monitoring.
• Strong Python and SQL with ability to move from notebooks to production code.
• Practical data engineering instincts (event schemas, batch jobs, orchestration, data quality).
• Clear communication for non-technical audiences.
• Bias for action and ownership in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• LLM applications for agentic solutions.
• Graph modeling, personalization (propensity/uplift modeling, bandits, causal inference).
• Experience with scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost, CausalML, Keras, DoWhy.
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, Looker or Metabase, AWS services (S3, Lambda).
• Experience designing/implementing model/metric endpoints (FastAPI/Flask, OpenAPI), deploying via AWS Lambda/API Gateway or containers.
