What you will do

• Build product components that convert customer signals into timely actions to improve LLM visibility.
• Establish experimentation and measurement foundations using sound statistical practices to guide product decisions.
• Productionize and scale durable data and model workflows in collaboration with engineering.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, CS, and Commercial teams to make human signals visible and actionable.
• Document technical decisions to ensure system reliability, explainability, and scalability.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from London (Vauxhall HQ) for hybrid collaboration.
• 4+ years of experience in applied data science for product, marketing, consumer, or SaaS.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with the ability to write production-ready code.
• Hands-on ML expertise in feature engineering, propensity, or uplift modeling.
• Proven ability to prototype with generative AI models and translate innovations into product improvements.
• Strong data engineering instincts regarding event schemas, batch jobs, and orchestration.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM applications for agentic solutions or graph modeling.
• Expertise in personalization, bandits, or causal inference (CausalML, DoWhy).
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, Looker, Metabase, or AWS services (S3, Lambda).
• Ability to implement model/metric endpoints using FastAPI, Flask, or OpenAPI.
