What you will do

• Create and maintain optimal data and data pipeline architectures.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automation and infrastructure redesign for scalability.
• Build infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using relational and big data technologies.
• Develop analytics tools that utilize data pipelines to provide actionable insights into operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a Data Engineer role.
• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases.
• Experience building and optimizing big data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
• Strong analytical skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
• Experience with Relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server, Cosmos, and Mongo.
• Senior-level experience in data engineering with Snowflake, Power BI, and Azure Cloud Services.
• Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages like C#, PowerShell, or Python.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Databricks.
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field.
