System & Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps)

Salary: Annual gross salary: 42,800€ - 60,500€ (including a base salary of 55,000€ and variable pay up to 5,500€ annually).

What you will do

• Keep the hirify.global application running 24/7, ensuring its performance, scalability, and security.
• Research and implement improvements to enable Product Engineers to develop new use cases.
• Take ownership of big initiatives, establishing goals and planning a quarterly roadmap.
• Review code and provide/receive feedback from team members.
• Learn from the entire team on technical topics and core skills in an environment driven by engineering quality.
• Share your knowledge through RFCs, pairing sessions, and mentoring.

Requirements

• Roughly **5+ years of experience** working as a Software or Systems Engineer.
• Solid experience managing large-scale application deployments on the cloud.
• Proficient with **Terraform** or **Ansible** for IaC.
• Experience with **MySQL** database administration.
• Familiarity with public cloud services like **AWS or Azure**.
• Experience operating a **Kubernetes cluster** and managing a large MySQL cluster with HA configuration.
• Comfortable communicating in **English (B2 required)**.
• **Must be able to travel to Barcelona once per quarter** with at most half a day travel time for on-site collaboration in the **Barcelona or Madrid Office**.
