What you will do

• Create VFX assets using Unreal Engine 4/5, primarily leveraging Niagara systems and Cascade, alongside the UE4/5 material editor for shader creation.
• Utilize tools like EmberGen and, optionally, Houdini, to craft high-quality visual effects.
• Implement VFX into Unreal Engine environments with optimal performance and collaborate for integration.
• Work closely with lighting, environment artists, graphics programmers, and level designers for cohesive visuals.
• Track and present your progress via management tools, including preview videos and screenshots.
• Contribute to the creative process with a strong sense of animation, timing, and aesthetics, delivering innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Experience Level: 5+ years of professional experience in real-time VFX, including work on AA or AAA titles.
• Expertise in Unreal Engine VFX: Proficiency in Niagara systems is required.
• Blueprint Knowledge: Understanding of Unreal Engine Blueprints is essential.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing visually stunning and performant VFX.
• English Proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with Perforce or similar version control systems is mandatory.
