Marketing Account Manager (AI)

Location: Fully remote outside Canada; the role is listed for South Africa and Mexico and may be performed anywhere in the world. Standard business hours must align with either the Eastern Time Zone or Pacific Time Zone.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of 30–60 SMB clients and understand their business goals from the start of each engagement.
• Develop measurable marketing strategies, track performance against benchmarks, and adjust campaigns to improve results.
• Design and execute digital marketing campaigns across paid social, Google Ads, email, content, and landing pages.
• Use AI tools to create campaign assets, ad copy, creative concepts, performance reports, and strategy briefs.
• Identify growth and upsell opportunities while keeping clients informed about campaign value and performance.
• Provide proactive recommendations, manage difficult conversations, and collaborate with account management and other departments.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in account management, digital marketing, or client strategy; agency or SaaS experience is preferred.
• Independent experience building and managing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns.
• Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager or Google Analytics 4, plus email marketing and automation platforms.
• Professional experience using AI tools, including ChatGPT Teams, Claude, Canva Teams, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway ML, Surfer SEO, or CapCut.
• Strong understanding of SMB marketing ROI and the ability to explain marketing performance to non-marketer clients.
• Exceptional English communication skills and the ability to work Eastern or Pacific Time Zone business hours.
