What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that support product platforms.
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to high-level architectural decisions for new and existing systems.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality, reliable software solutions.
• Ensure systems are secure, maintainable, and highly available using performance optimization best practices.
• Manage services throughout the full development lifecycle, from initial design to production deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues and mentor junior engineers on engineering standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Strong expertise in Java and frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching mechanisms, and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production service management.
