What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, prioritizing for impact and career growth.
• Own strategy, roadmap, and execution for product development with product and design partners.
• Drive growth metrics like activation rates, signups, and developer adoption.
• Ship fast and iterate, running experiments and learning from failures.
• Build AI developer tools, MCP integrations, agentic builders, and platform partnerships.
• Set technical direction and guide architecture decisions across TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Go microservices.

Requirements

• Based in San Francisco and able to work from the office regularly.
• 1+ years of engineering management experience, ideally in growth or experimentation-heavy environments.
• Strong full-stack technical skills with deep experience in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Next.js.
• Active usage and strong opinions on MCP and AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, v0).
• Growth engineering experience, including A/B testing and data-informed decision-making with tools like GrowthBook or Amplitude.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
