AI Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Communicate with customers to set goals, identify risks, report progress, and present results.
• Prepare, explore, and analyze data for model training using Python.
• Train, test, and fine-tune AI/ML models for deployment.
• Work with on-premises, Linux-based GPU computing platforms and cloud instances, mainly GCP.
• Develop automated tools using ML models and work on challenging use cases.
• Travel abroad a minimum of three times per year for client meetings, conferences, or team off-sites.

Requirements

• Several years’ experience (at least 4 years) delivering successful projects in your field.
• Excellent coding ability in Python.
• Ability to integrate models into production systems using APIs.
• Deep Learning and Machine Learning project experience covering numerous algorithms and models (e.g., LGBM, XGBoost, GNN, LLMs).
• Familiarization with Natural Language Processing (NLP), LLM Integration & Prompt Engineering.
• Software design & development techniques including clean code, reviews, testing, and deployment.
• English language proficiency B2 or above.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Agentic AI development experience.
• Familiarization with PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Experience with deep Exploratory Data Analysis and result reporting.
