TL;DR
AI Software Development Engineer (AI Graphics): Support the development of content and datasets powering next-generation rendering technologies including Super Resolution, Frame Generation, and neural rendering methods with an accent on real-time 3D content workflows, procedural scene creation, and AI-based content generation. Focus on building scalable workflows for scenes, effects, scripted scenarios, visual effects setups, and capture pipelines producing high-quality datasets for AI training and evaluation.
Location: Poland, Gdansk (Hybrid: split time on-site at site and off-site)

What you will do
- Develop procedural content systems, scripted scenarios, visual effects setups, and AI-assisted scene generation workflows.
- Build capture pipelines for high-quality, controlled, repeatable datasets used in AI rendering training and evaluation.
- Collaborate with AI and graphics engineers to create scalable content for realism, diversity, and scale in synthetic data.
- Integrate assets, optimize lighting, materials, shaders, and post-processing in real-time rendering environments.
- Automate Unreal Editor workflows for batch processing, custom capture, and instrumentation.
Requirements
- Work in English with engineering and art stakeholders
- BS/MS or equivalent in Game Development, Digital Art, Computer Animation, Computer Science or related.
- 3+ years hands-on with Unreal Engine 4/5: lighting, materials, shaders, post-processing, optimization, asset integration.
- 3+ years Blueprint scripting and/or Sequencer for scripted events, camera motion, capture sequences.
- Strong experience with DCC tools (Maya, 3ds Max, Blender) and PBR workflows.
- Experience building tools/pipelines for Unreal Editor automation, batch processing, capture workflows.
- Python knowledge.
Nice to have
- Dataset generation for AI/ML, synthetic data, rendering ground truth workflows.
- Shader languages (HLSL/GLSL), Unreal Material Editor, debugging rendering features.
- AI dataset QA issues: motion vectors, depth, jitter metadata.
- Scalable workflows for procedural scenes, VFX, content generation.
- C++ knowledge.
