People Operations Intern

TL;DR

People Operations Intern: Supporting and maintaining HR systems and processes for a fast-growing health tech company with an accent on data validation, reporting, and process efficiency. Focus on improving employee experience, supporting compliance, and learning cross-functional operations.

Location: On-site in Boston, MA. Must be based in the Boston area and available to be in the office ~3 days per week.

Salary: $25 per hour

What you will do

• Help support and maintain HR tools like BambooHR, Lever, Carta, CultureAmp, Pingboard, and Pave.
• Document workflows and help keep systems organized and up to date.
• Pull reports related to hiring, headcount, and employee data.
• Assist with regular audits and support payroll processes.
• Assist with compensation and equity data across internal systems.
• Help identify ways to make processes more efficient and scalable.

Requirements

• Interest in HR Ops, Benefits, Total Rewards, or similar roles.
• Exposure to benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, and internal systems.
• Tech-savvy with system integrations and reporting tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable doing data analysis.
• Currently enrolled in college or graduate school, or you graduated within the past year.
• Based in the Boston area and available to be in the office ~3 days per week.
• Passion for improving the US healthcare system.
