Growth Manager, Education Sales (Edtech): Driving expansion of a K-12 math curriculum in the US market with an accent on leading sales processes, building district-level relationships, and executing go-to-market strategies. Focus on generating meaningful interactions with administrators, conducting product demonstrations, and closing deals to transform math education.

Location: Hybrid team based in New York, with members in California, Chicago, and other US locations. Willingness to travel (30 - 50% of your work week) to visit schools and classrooms in your region.

Salary: $90,000 base salary

What you will do

  • Build and expand a strong network of district-level administrators across the US.
  • Generate meaningful interactions and discovery meetings with district-level administrators through various channels.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from product demonstrations to negotiation and closing deals.
  • Support the assessment and application of RFPs and state adoptions.
  • Develop and execute effective Go-to-Market tactics.
  • Lead by example in sales while navigating early-stage market constraints.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a growth-oriented, front-facing position in the curriculum space or education.
  • Demonstrated experience with school districts and generating opportunities with district-level administrators.
  • Strong knack for speaking and connecting with teachers, demonstrating educator-to-educator communication skills.
  • Genuine passion for math and education and a desire to improve traditional methods.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on approach to building from scratch in an early-stage environment.
  • Willingness to travel (30 - 50% of your work week) to visit schools and classrooms in your region.

Nice to have

  • Experience in math through your education or career.
  • Experience in going from 0 to 1 in a product or market, perhaps while working at a startup.
  • An existing network with K-12 education.
  • Experience as a teacher, ideally at an elementary school.
