Solution Account Manager (Data Centers)

Solution Account Manager (Data Centers): Establishing and maintaining strategic accounts within the data center vertical with an accent on identifying and developing high potential targets whose business aligns to Belden’s leveraged markets or Global Smart Infrastructure Commercial Plan. Focus on coordinating all aspects of proposing and delivering favorable customer outcomes to target clients and expanding business within the region and target account base.

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $100,000–$170,000 annually

What you will do

• Execute Belden’s Commercial Data Center Strategy and implement defined sales processes and programs.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to identify and secure On-Premise, Cloud, and MTDC business opportunities.
• Utilize a professional consultative sales approach to conduct needs analysis and evaluate proper resource engagement.
• Collaborate with Solution Consultants to develop unique and customizable solutions for customers.
• Expand business within the assigned region and target accounts, utilizing Belden Smart Building and Data Center products.
• Provide regular feedback to senior management on sales potential and market activities.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of Relevant Sales and Technical Experience in similar or adjacent markets.
• Strong experience and knowledge in Data Center Power, Cooling, Compute Storage, and Network Architecture.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience speaking to C Suite Executives.
• Ability/willingness to travel up to 50%.

Nice to have

• Data Center Functions, Systems and Architecture experience.
• College degree.
• Ability to define requirements and differentiated customer needs within On-Prem, Cloud, Edge, Hyperconverged, Multi-Tennant and CoLo environments.
• Experience specifying and designing Data Center Infrastructure and Systems.
