Direct Funds Product Manager (Private Markets)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; the position can also be based in Zurich, Switzerland, or London, United Kingdom. Office attendance is required four days per week, with remote work available on Fridays.

What you will do

• Own post-launch product management, lifecycle oversight, and governance for private markets funds across EMEA.
• Coordinate Structuring, Legal, Tax, Operations, Compliance, and Platform teams to translate product, client, and regulatory requirements into execution plans.
• Oversee share class design, fee structures, reporting requirements, platform configuration, and operational implementation of fund documentation.
• Act as the primary interface for clients, general partners, external stakeholders, and service providers on product and operational matters.
• Manage due diligence questionnaires, investor information requests, AML/KYC questionnaires, operational risks, and escalated issues.
• Lead post-launch enhancements, structural adjustments, new share classes, process standardisation, and scaling of the evergreen/direct funds platform.

Requirements

• 6–15 years of relevant experience in product management, fund structuring, fund operations, or related private markets roles.
• Strong experience with Luxembourg fund structures, particularly UCI Part II, RAIFs, or similar vehicles.
• Strong understanding of private markets fund structures, lifecycle management, governance frameworks, and fund documentation.
• Familiarity with AIFM environments and key service providers, including administrators, depositaries, and auditors.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder environments, solve non-standard and time-sensitive issues, and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills across internal and external parties.

Nice to have

• Experience with evergreen or semi-liquid fund structures.
• Exposure to cross-border product structuring and multi-jurisdictional setups.
