What you will do

• Work closely with engineering teams to design and maintain resilient, high-performance infrastructure platforms.
• Build and enhance foundational infrastructure and platform services used by hirify.global engineering teams.
• Automate repetitive and risky tasks to improve operational efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve network, system, and service-level issues, sharing on-call responsibilities.
• Optimize system performance, reduce costs, and contribute to open source projects.
• Manage risk and implement best practices to ensure system reliability and uptime.

Requirements

• Must be located in or able to work onsite in New York City, NY, United States
• 5+ years experience in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or DevOps.
• Proficiency in Go and Python programming languages.
• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud systems, and distributed systems development.
• Strong Linux and container knowledge, with troubleshooting skills across applications, networking, and systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
