TL;DR

Principal Product Manager (Subscriptions & Monetization): Drive global subscription, pricing, and revenue strategy across web, mobile, and partner channels with an accent on monetization strategy, payment customer experience, and subscription packaging. Focus on designing and executing pricing experiments, optimizing billing systems, and collaborating cross-functionally to maximize revenue and customer lifetime value.

Location: Must permanently reside in the US and be based in San Francisco (hybrid), New York City (remote), or Seattle (remote)

Salary: $162,000 - $258,700 + equity + benefits

What you will do

  • Define multi-year product vision and roadmap for monetization streams including subscription packaging and paywalls.
  • Lead pricing and promotional A/B testing to optimize conversion rates and ARPU.
  • Own and optimize end-to-end payment and billing experience to reduce churn and friction.
  • Define and launch new subscription tiers and bundles aligned with customer value and go-to-market strategy.
  • Collaborate with Engineering on subscription platform, billing systems, and APIs ensuring security and scalability.
  • Track key business metrics and use data modeling to inform strategic product decisions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Core Experience Product, Finance, Legal, Data Science, and Marketing teams.

Requirements

  • Must have 8+ years in Product Management with 2+ years focused on subscription models, monetization, pricing, or billing platforms
  • Proven success in launching products that drive revenue growth and improve customer LTV
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to translate business goals into product roadmaps
  • Experience with subscription economics, A/B testing, and monetization experimentation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills
  • Must permanently reside in the US and be based in specified cities

Nice to have

  • Experience with global payment and billing systems like Zuora, Recurly, Stripe
  • Background in digital health, wellness, or consumer subscription SaaS sectors
  • Familiarity with multiple monetization models such as freemium, tiered subscriptions, usage-based pricing
